Poor little Brad

well I had my first track meet thursday night, it was only a 'practice meet' but i love to go to win. well as i was warming up for the pole vault, the first event i was doing, i twisted my ankle pretty bad. i just went to the doctor and got it x-rayed and there are no breaks but the crutches are giving me bruises on the huge muscles under my arms.

Isn't it hard to do the pole vault on crutches? I know you didn't stop trying...Take care and get better!

I know your papa always told me that salt water heals everything Brad, so I think you need to plan on surfing while in California! Either that or go to the beach and let all the surfer ladies come over to you and oooing and awwing and feeling sad for you, trying to make you feel better...Better come up with a good story about fighting off sharks or something though...

oh i will. how bout 'i landed wrong after jumping off the pier to save a 3 year old girl wandering to close to a rabid seal. dont worry i still got the baby and got away.' is that good enough?

but to tell you the truth i dont think ill be able to surf, which really annoys me. it really is pretty bad. ill definitely go in the water, but im just hoping to be off crutches.

My advice: Take some hot water, just as hot as you can stand it....
